Any use Home Depot to remodel their kitchen?

Does anyone have any experience using home depot store to remodel a kitchen? I have used them only to install a water heater and a sliding glass door only. I'm buying a home that desperately needs a new kitchen. I'm currently learning as much as I can about remodeling. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I used stuff FROM HD, but I didn't use their contractors. I used the low-end Mill's Pride cabinets, some $$$ hardware, and their Silestone counters.
