dd was very worried last night (about a relative's illness) and i tried to reassure her. This morning she woke up with diarrhea - no vomiting. Is it a coincidence? she still has a stomach ache, but it's better.

Yes, stress is huge factor, I can say this from personal experience. I also have a friend who is scared to fly and has to take Imodium before she flies or it's not good!

Yes, it can. It speeds pulse, increases bp, etc. too.

uh, hell yeah. ask any college student right before they take final exams. lol. actually IMO diarrhea is one of the milder physical things that anxiety can cause. i had one relative so distraught over her husband's stroke that she got pains in her legs so badly she could barely walk. kids can be affected as well.. i remember in elem school one friends of mine would get so anxious/stressed out about giving an oral report in class she would get physically ill (vomiting, etc). i remember one of my brother's friends (at age 5 or so) would get migraine headaches when he was too overwhelmed/stressed out.

Most definitely. I know this from years and years of experience. My emotions flow directly to my stomach. Even when I'm really happy and excited, I have issues.

absolutely! I know from personal experience. It is no fun and usually one of the major symptoms that come along with my panic attacks/anxiety!

Yes, it definitely can and I am speaking from personal experience. Anxiety can also cause extreme nausea too.
