At my DS' school, they rotate who brings the snack, and my DS' third turn is coming up. I'm at a loss for what to send!

They have a peanut allergy and a dairy allergy in his classroom, so I need to take that into account.

I've sent apple slices and grape juice for both turns, but I'm pretty sure I need to branch out. ;)

Any ideas?

I have to bring snack this week and dd asked me to bring strawberries and blueberries. Both are super foods, colorful, tasty and kids like them.

As a kindergarten teacher, I can tell you that fruits and veggies are a novelty to a lot of kids. Baby carrots and celery were always a hit (always surprising to me!) If you need something easy, cereal is always easy and there are some dairy free options.

Banana halves, crackers, grapes in snack baggies.

pita chips, baby carrots and hummus
mini whole wheat bagels and fake soy cream cheese (tofutti)--Trader Joes has both
edamame (probably best if it's aleady shelled)

Thanks for posting! Our snack day is coming up next week. I think I will go the fruit or veggie route this time.
