How did she look that great in such a short period of time. I look awful for a good 6-8 weeks after having a baby.

Wow, I feel bad for her. I mean, two wks after having a baby, you should be with your new baby and enjoying him.

She's the star of a major motion picture...that baby was with her on set if she wanted him/her to be. I feel sorry for women who have to go to back to work two weeks post-partum because they have no choice and have to leave the baby behind. Not being snarky...but really you shouldn't feel bad for her, I'm sure she was fine. (you're much nicer than me!)

As for the OP...OMG! She looked in great shape. Maybe they filmed all of the Wisconsin scenes where she was bundled up early in the shoot.

There's a word for her. And it's not polite.
Kidding, kidding.
(not really.)

Just remember--body double. Yep, I'm figuring they had to have done that in the one nude scene. Otherwise, I agree with elizabethkott :love-retry:

:yeahthat: x1000! She chose to make the movie, she could've easily turned it down.

Well, it sounds like she wasn't that thrilled about it:

"I could never reclaim these first precious moments of maternity," she tells USA Today. "[But] I needed to pay my mortgage. It wasn't an option. I had to do the role."

Critics have praised her work, and Farmiga just hopes it means the studio doesn't regret casting her -- a fear she had while meeting with executives throughout her pregnancy.

"We met when I was four months pregnant, six months pregnant, eight months pregnant," Farmiga says. "The studio was panicking. I felt that. And it destroyed me. I wanted to walk away from this career. I felt incredibly insecure."

I don't think actresses get that many opportunities to star in a George Clooney movie that she could turn it down without it hurting her career.

I was thinking body double too or a tight wrap around her belly.

A-
B!+ch! Thanks Elektra. I'm a dummy. I guess that was the last thought that crossed my mind when I read the article.

A nice NYT Magazine piece about her from a few years ago etched her into my mind then as someone to keep an eye on.

I remember this piece, too. Every time I see her, that's what I think of.

Great article. Thanks for sharing. She seems very eccentric, which I like.
