Maybe this should go in clothing but it's not really kid or adult specific...

We're going to Disney and I have some designs I've created to put on t-shirts. If all goes well I'm thinking it might be a good birthday favor in a couple of months for DS but that would probably be 12 shirts at the most and first I'm going to test it out on shirts for the family.

But I have no idea what I'm doing! I know the iron should be very very hot and you need to press down very well. I bought some iron-on transfers and I have some cute designs I'll print out but I'm not sure where/what to buy for a t-shirt.

Does 100% cotton work best? Is there a good site if I only want to buy a handful of shirts (not a bulk purchase)? Should I just buy some at AC Moore with coupons? White? Colors? I'm pretty sure I got iron ons for colored fabric so does that mean I shouldn't do them on white? I was thinking a red shirt for DS and really I should do them for all of us (there are 14 people going) but I don't think some of the relatives will wear a t-shirt. We'll see how they come out :)
