I've got this lab report due in a few hours. Help me by telling me where the enzyme cytochrome c oxidase would be found in a bacterial cell.

I know this is a way out there question, but I just can't find the answer. I thought it was the cell wall but the professor says that's not the correct answer.

Mitochondrial intermembrane space.

The cell wall is actually the peptidogylcan layer. It's in the inner (or cytoplasmic) membrane.
