I am interested in getting a CFP license. I am already a CPA so I only need to take the exam and get the 2000 hrs related work experience. I hope to find a PT job or one with very flexible schedule. So, I can pick up my kids from schools and attend any school events.
How is the job opportunity for CFP? Do they normally work with investment firms or others? Are the hours pretty flexible? Do you need to be at clients' location? Do you need to find clients by yourself? Is the job stressful and demanding? Can you work from home?
Earning is normally base salary plus commission, right? Does it mean you need to get a security license too so you can handle the stock/bond transactions?
