Does it depend on the type of flooring you have? TIA

Outside. DS was never able to play with bubbles without spilling the container all over the ground. If I was doing it, it could be inside. But DS dipping wand himself, totally an outside activity.

Both! Inside, we only used bubbles while DC were taking a bath.

Both, definitely. Here in New England if bubbles were outside only then we'd never get to use them except in summer and that would be sad.

Gymboree bubbles may be used inside (these rock!).

All other kinds are used outside.

:yeahthat: We tried it indoors and the bubble liquid took the finish off our floors! That's not to mention all the liquid spilled by DS1 and left everywhere by all the bubbles.

Poor DS2. He'll only ever have bubbles blown to him in the bath tub - or outside.

Outside. The only way it'd be inside is in an unfinished basement or other room I really didn't care about.

:yeahthat: My DC love the Gymbo bubbles...we've used them inside forever. But all other bubbles are outside only!

I voted other cuz they're both around here. They just hit the carpet and break, no issues with staining (as long as they're not teh colored ones!). As for spilling, yeah, tha's an issue, so we juts try to be careful :-)

Both as far as I am concerned. I know my DD's therapists use them inside all the time also.

Outside or in the bath tub only.

Outside only. I may have to look into the gymbo ones. Why are they different??

I'm an ogre. Outside only. I can't stand the dripping, even on the gymbo ones.

mostly an outdoor toy. but if they really want bubbles during the winter or night, i allow it in the kitchen (easy to mop up the mess in there).

We've only allowed them outside, but I know our nanny has used them inside (on carpet, no spilling).
