I'd imagine crackign the egg ont he panini bread is not the best way to do this. So, what, would I cook the egg first and then panini it? How does Corner Bakery do this?!

This is not urgent. I'll wing it if I have to, no biggie.

I would cook the egg first. Do you have a panini press? We do our with a lodge grill pan and a bacon (we are vegetarian, lol) press.
HTH a little.

Yes, I have a panini press. Ok, I guess I'm cooking it. Thank you!

I think Corner Bakery cooks the egg, adds it to the buttered bread, adds a layer of cheese & ham/bacon (optional) and then puts it in the panini press. They are quite tasty!

We do panini dinners once a week, since I am in school at night. I roast veggies (red bell pepper, eggplant, onion, spinach, portabellas, etc.) the night before and then make sammies the next day. Hummus or tzaziki are great spreads. I kinda with we had a press, but our way works, too. And I have no idea where I would put another kitchen gadget! I'm suddenly hungry...
