I'd love to see your recipes for corned beef and cabbage (traditional boiled dinner) and Irish Soda Bread.

And what cut of corned beef do you buy...I see Flat Cut and Point Cut advertised in the grocery flyer.

Anyone make their corned beef and cabbage in the crock pot?

Any other recipes I should consider?

TIA!

I've cooked corned beef in the crockpot---so yummy! I buy whatever's cheap :) I cook the cabbage separately though.

Here's the Soda Bread that I've made for the past few years.

I made corned beef & cabbage for a few years, but after the left-overs just sat and sat, I realized neither DH or I really like it that much. So for the past few years I've been making Guiness Stew instead. This we love and if there is anything left-over, it'll be gone the next day. :) Goes great with the soda bread too!
