Uppa G-Luxe yes/no?

Anyone using the G Luxe? Do you like it?

I'm looking for a super light-weight, umbrella stroller that reclines. Looks like this is the best value ($159). Unfortnately none of the local retailers carry it in stock. So I'm looking to you all for guidance.

those recline and as arivecchi says - you can't beat a mac! our triumph is great.

bing may or may not be at 10%, but if it is, that makes it an even better deal! (if you've never ordered before, you could use coupons/that magazine rebate too)

LOVE my G-Luxe! Chose it over the Maclaren Triumph after looking at both in person. Especially love that it stands on it's own- Triumph doesn't. We had a slight problem with the recline mechanism, but put a temporary fix on it. UPPAbaby sent us a brand new one right away though. Get it!

I was just talking to a local retailer who had the 2009 G-Luxe reduced to $129 because they just got the 2010s in stock and the 2010s have a bigger canopy. So if you're paying $159 I would make sure you get the 2010 with the bigger canopy. HTH.

:yeahthat: Macs are the best! I don't like the thin fabric in the Uppas. We have used our Triumph a ton and after 3 years it is still going strong!

macs are great but not a lot of stroller for the $$ i've come to find- you can get more from the g-luxe or an inglesina trip (my new fav at only $144, full suspension, almost flat recline, super padded, tall handles like the mac xt, extended sunshade, pockets, window, and 15 lbs to boot!)

Haven't had a mac (didn't like the fold in the store) but love my g-luxe. Uppababy has amazing CS too.

Another vote for the G-Luxe. Don't get a Mac just because it's a Mac. If you can, try them both out. We have a Vista and a G-luxe. Uppa customer service is fantastic and we've been very very happy with both strollers.
