I was on Baby Cheapskate for something else last night (a swing) and someone posted this on the site (http://babycheapskate.blogspot.com/2010/03/27-off-fisher-price-4-way-cradle-swing.html), and I think I have pretty much talked myself out of buying this, but part of me thinks I'd be stupid not to grab it:
2010 Maclaren Grey on Grey (or Black on Black) Maclaren Techno XT for....... $230!!!!!!!!
http://ababyoutlets.com/product/index.cfm?product_id=20564

Also it looks like this is the website for All About Baby in Brooklyn, NY which is an ax. seller of Maclaren products:)

I love my Triumph as does DD, but it won't be her stroller much longer anyway esp. if the baby doesn't like the Beco carrier.

WWYD, and any advice on what I could sell the Triumph for (DH has said okay to the Techno if I can sell the Triumph!:boogie:) I am thinking around $75 (the hood is a tad dirty, but I could try and clean it!)

ETA: just listed the 07 Vista on Craigslist for $350. Thinking it would be better to sell that and keep the Triumph as a second trunk stroller for DH's car or an extra stroller for my parents whom we visit a couple of times of year!

ETA: I could probably end up selling the Vista too as much as I love it because even though it does forward face and has a basinet and a carseat adaptor it is rather big and we are most likely getting a Bob double too so we may not even a need a stroller board and I also hope that DD will be able to walk closer to the stroller once I have #2).

I have the Techno for my DS, and he has used it ever since birth, since it reclines all the way. I don't think that the Triumph reclines fully. I love our Techno and plan on using it for our second child.

by the way, are you planning on getting a double stroller for your kids? I've been thinking about this, because my DS loves sitting in his Techno still and he's on the average/smaller side for his age at 3.5 years old.

Yeah we bought the Triumph when DD was 3 mos. old and I think we started using it around the time she was 4 mos. old and had good head control. We had a hand me down Peg Perego Pliko I used before that and I didn't care for it much. I didn't know how much I was going to use the stroller so that's why I didn't spring for the Techno in the first place.

We are most likely going to get a Bob Revolution stroller as our double because we still need some sort of jogger for neighborhood walks and trips to the beach. We have an 80lb lab that likes 2 to 3 mile walks and I don't want that to change once we have the new baby. DD still likes and asks for her stroller.
