UPDATED:
I ended up going to a local Ju Ju Be trunk show today at Nordstroms and I ended up getting the Be Spicy in Lotus Lullaby. The Be Spicy bag is bigger than I originally wanted, but I figured with two kids it will be a good size too and there will be plenty of room for everything. I also thought it fit the bill because I didn't really have an all purpose bag (other than my gym bag) so I thought it would be nice to have a non gym bag all purpose bag. I was also really surprised that I liked the Lotus Lullaby print as I didn't think much of it online.

I finally saw this bag yesterday at a baby store and I think it's the perfect size bag for me, plus it has a zipper and that's a must. The bag will be used for only #2 (DD already has a backpack or if we need more space I have my ever trusty Eddie Bauer backpack from college for theme parks, vacations, etc.) and once I go back to work #2 will go to daycare (will be 3 mos. old) so it will have to be able to store some diapers (not sure if we are going to do disposables or cloth at daycare yet), an outfit change or two, a small blanket or lovey, and one or two bottles (b/m will go in a separate cooler or if we chose to do formula that will go in a 32 oz. Nalgene BPA free bottle)

Here is the link to the bag (and the color I want):

If you've had a Between bag and gotten something else instead that's worked better please let me know!

I also really don't want a huge bag like the rest of the zippered JJB bags I have seen. It also MUST have a zipper.

I also thought that a Le Sport Sac travel tote or weekender might work too, but with the lack of pockets for bottles and such I am not sure it will work.
Erika Travel Tote (this is my favorite print): http://www.lesportsac.com/store/7867_3820.html
Medium Weekender (second favorite print): http://www.lesportsac.com/store/7184_3004.html

Also kind of the same thought with the Vera Bradley bags I posted in my last diaper bag post
http://www.windsorpeak.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=350825.

TIA:)

I have a JJB Between (actually, 2 ;)), and I love them!!! They were perfect for me, before DS was potty trained. I think it does take a bit of time to learn how to pack them perfectly for you, but they are very stuffable, and look good both packed light and stuffed full. I can't compare it to any of the bags you listed, I'm a JJB fan all the way - LOL! But I think the Between is an awesome bag - easy to find things when you need them, a spot for everything, a great mommy pocket. I'd definitely give it a try :)

Oh, and also come check out the Pink Room on the JJB website (http://www.ju-ju-be.com/PinkRoom/index.php) - you can get more feedback about the Between and other bags, see IRL pictures, and even try to win a bag for yourself :)

Thanks I registered for that site yesterday, but I am waiting for my approval from the mods. How long does that usually take?

ETA: I got on the site this morning, my username is anniep625

yup, great bag! I just got one and it is the perfect size for us. I use disposable diapers so I can't tell you about the cloth, but I fit 3 diapers, change of cloths, meds (motrin etc) a bunch of toys, snacks, sippys and some other random stuff in there. I love it.
for sure check out the pink room like the pp said:D

I found the Tween bag to be too small for me because I like to stuff jackets in sometimes. JJB has a new zipped bag (Be Fabulous) that just came available that a little larger and there is a new one coming this summer too.

I also LOVE the fleurville Sling Tote (lighter than the JJB version) so check that one out. It does zip shut. I've had 2 of these over the last 6 years.

Thanks Audys! I'll have to look at the BeFabulous. JJB is having a trunk show at a local Nordstrom tomorrow so I am hoping to stop by and see them. I am going to be a nerd and take some stuff to stuff in the bags tomorrow so I can see exactly how much stuff I can put in them. That should give me a much better idea of what will fit and what won't fit.

Ooooh, let me know what you think after the trunk show!! I'm a native of NorCal too but am in TX now. Thanks so much!

I appreciate the update! I'm glad you found a bag that you like :)
