7 month old waking ever two hours

Help! DD (7 months) is waking up screaming every two hours! She was sick since wed night- high fever- but the fever broke on Sat., blood and urine tests were normal and ped said it was a virus. While she was sick this was tolerable but for the last two nights, no fever, she is still waking up every two hours. I have to go to work today and I’m going crazy. Could she still be sick without a fever? She's not acting sick during the day.... Could she have just gotten used to waking? Usually, she wakes up 1x per night to nurse, and never wakes up screaming- just makes complaining noises. Can I use CIO or is it too soon after the virus?

This is always a tough call..... I *think* she's just used to waking up in the night after being sick. Try to let her CIO - maybe a Ferberize refresher.... Hopefully she quickly gets back in the groove.... Good luck.
