My Mum had a cataract surgery 8 weeks ago. The next day it was wonderful, then it started to swell and get very red. She went back to the doctor and he just said it was fine. She went to the ER 2 more days later (after it was swollen and red and awful) and they said she was allergic to the drops she was given. She changed them and the redness and swelling went down but now she has a blurry blob in the middle of her eye that is not getting better. She has been back to the specialist 2 times (2 different drs) and on monday the man she doesn't like (who missed the fact that she was allergic) just told her to give it more time. She is worried that she'll never be able to see again. I read lots online but of course can't find out what's wrong.
Any ideas if it will get better?
