I don't think I've ever shared a kid funny even though my boys are goofballs but my soon-to-be 5 y.o. cracked me up today so I have to share.
His b-day is coming up and we were discussing his invite list. He gave me some names and I asked about some of the other kids in his class to see if he wanted them included or not. At this point, I'm letting him dictate as he is not the type of kid to talk it up in front of kids in his class and I know the moms and can pass out invites without doing a whole class thing. That being said, there were three kids I asked him about who he does not want to invite.
Here are the reasons:
Kid 1 - "He chews with his mouth open."
Kid 2 - "She counts two 1's." (1, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc....)
Kid 3 - "He eats breakfast at school and always almost gets timeouts."
? What in the world? I asked him if these kids are nice to him and he said yes but he reiterated that he didn't want to invite them for the above reasons. He is definitely a "quirky" kind of kid and gets along with everyone but is obviously very opinionated. I thought his reasons were hysterical, though not fair.
Anyway, my guy #2 gave me a good laugh today and I thought I'd share...... :)
