At what age did your dc switch from two naps to one?

my DS, about 13 months. my friend's DS is still taking 2 naps at 18 months. and they're both quality naps!

DS started on his own at about 11.5 months (he is 12 months now). The naps are hard to predict. Sometimes, he will take it in the morning, sometimes it will be in the afternoon. Sometimes it is an hour, sometimes it is 2.5 hours! Sigh.

At around a year but i think that was mainly because he started daycare & all the other kids there were doing only 1 nap. On weekends he was still doing 2 naps for a couple more months.

we are in that in between stage, the day just seems to short for two naps, but he's a disaster (and sleeps worse) if I only give him one. My son turned 12mo last week. He usually take two, but the afternoon nap is almost always in the car or in the stroller. He won't sleep otherwise.

11 months (which took me by surprise as he didn't give up 3rd nap until 9 months). He has been an AWFUL sleeper (night & naps) but now he really seems to be sleeping better - finally - 7:30 to 7:30 with usually 1 wakeup (sometimes 2) and a fair 2 hour nap starting at 11:30 or noon).
