Has anyone tried topsy turvey planters?

I've never grown tomatoes myself. Wondering of these are good...

I've been wondering the same thing, sorry I don't have an answer but I'm dying to know how they are too. I was thinking of getting the strawberries.

I used one last year for the first time and loved it! I grew cherry tomatoes in it. DH attached an iron plant hook to our deck and I hung it there. It was in direct sunlight most of the day. We got loads of tomatoes and the kids loved to pick them and eat them as a snack. I really want to get a couple this year and do tomatoes and maybe another veggie :)

We have a traditional garden so I haven't tried these, but my uncle uses them and he has good success with them.

Thanks for the reviews! Our deck faces north and gets sun for part of the day. I should do the cherry tomatoes. I love them and maybe it would get DS to eat them (he loves to eat things we plant, even basil and parsley straight from the pot).
