Our Wii console is not working. It has not been for a few months. I just took a look at it and looked online for answers. There were several reports of the same disc read error that we have. The wii will not read any of the discs that we have and apparently the laser inside is not lined up correctly according to what I reed online that is. All the advice was to send the console back to Nintendo. Does anyone know what it will cost to have them repair it? And can I bring it somewhere localy to be repaired? Or even Best Buy? I know that our Wii is not under the warenty anymore since it is 1 1/2 years old so even Nintendo should charge for the repair.
