Dh has Type 2 diabetes. He has been considered borderline for years. I am really trying to adjust my cooking. Anyone care to share any recipes?

I don't have any specific recipe suggestions...but I can recommend a couple magazines that could give you some ideas. One that I've had a subscription to for about 2 years is Healthy Cooking by Taste of Home. (We all know that Taste of Home doesn't have the healthiest recipes but this "sister" magazine does.) They do recipe makeovers every month and I have incorporated many of their recipes into our regular rotation. (No one has diabetes in our immediate family but I just try to cook healthier in general for all of us.) I find the recipes to be simple and the ingredients are things I usually have on hand. If you enjoy cooking and don't mind longer ingredient lists, try Cooking Light magazine - or check out their website....all the recipes from their magazine eventually end up on-line. I don't subscribe to this magazine any longer. I found their recipes to not be quite as kid friendly.

HTH!!
