Does anyone have any experience with chalkboard paint or chalkboard peel and stick panels (I think they sell some at Land of Nod and other places)? We have an oddly shaped wall in our new playroom that I'd like to make a chalkboard - ideally I'd like to have most of it be chalkboard and then add a frame around it to discourage chalking up the surrounding wall :)

Just wondering if the paint works at all or if the peel and stick would be better. Thanks for any info!

i've wanted to do the same thing, but am unsure which would be better.

My Mom painted her pantry door and it looks great. Next project is to paint a peice of drywall I am putting in a frame in my kids room (we have textured walls and wanted the chalkboard smooth).

I've done the paint- I used a pink and a brown from Michaels. No problems here.
