my mother lost our car key

somehow in the steps she took between when i handed it to her while we were both standing at the island in the kitchen...

to when she bent down to say goodbye to the baby...

to when she walked the three feet to the front door of our apartment...

to when she walked the 15 feet to the front door our building...

she lost the friggin' key

she literally walked out the front door, and then buzzed me and said, "hey, where is your car key?"

gahhhhhhh!!!! :banghead:

we just got a new key (cost over $100 to replace!) after DH magically lost it between parking the car directly in front of the building and walking inside

what's the deal, people??!!

i have had the crappiest day and this just the final straw

and to top it off...someone is grilling something fabulous smelling outside and i am starving and extremely crabby

Fore real, man. I keep stuff in there the sometimes forget. I mean, can't house more than one thing at a time, which is usually my phone, but sometimes, i'll stick something in there when I have no pockets.
