View Full Version : Diapers.com 40% off shoes and clothing, exp 4/11

Hope this isnt a double post- I searched and didnt find anything about this...

Use code SPRING40 to receive 40% anything in the clothing/shoes department (including sale items). You just have to make a diaper purchase for this to work. Free shipping over $49- and they calculate this before your 40% off.

I think this expires 4/11.

Btw, there are some skip hop diaper bags in the clothing/shoes department- so they would be 40% off as well. There are also some nice blankets and lovies etc.

I ordered DD one pair of Robeez for $10.19. I had to control myself from ordering more because she really doesnt need. Lots of See Kai Runs too. I wish they had pedipeds, but they dont.

HTH someone!

Awesome deal! Thank you OP.

DS loves his sleep sacks and I can never find a deal for the toddler ones. I was just thinking he needed 4t-5t which are so hard to find.

I got two toddler sleepsacks and a pack of overnights for $35!!!! the sleepsacks came to $12 each with the sale!

ETA: do you think they will accept my huggies manuf. coupon after the purchase? I might try it out!

Thanks! I got DS a sleepsack as well!
I got a pack of pampers, 2 3 packs of robeez socks and a sleepsack for $32 shipped! Plus they had some instant $1.50 off the pampers so they really weren't a crazy price.

ooh, I wish I would have known about the BABYJUMBO code. Anyhoo...I was in a hurry this morning when I placed my order and didn't look around enough and although I am pleased w/ my purchase, I missed some really great stuff. The code can only be used once. Besides the great shoes and sleepsacks, they also have the laptop lunch bento system, trumpette socks, charlie rocket, tea collection, zutano, etc.

Probably should not have purchased but what a deal! I am an existing customer and I went through Ebates and used the free pack of jumbo diapers coupon and the 40 % off coupon. I got a pack of Pampers Easy Ups, a set of Trumpette socks for a gift, a Swaddle Designs blanket for a gift and a Laptop Lunchbox Bento System all for $45.59 shipped! $40.89 in coupons were applied. Thanks for the great coupon codes!

OP said 4/11.

Sorry - was so excited I didn't read the whole thing! Thanks OP.

BTW - I tried to use BABYJUMBO and it said that it was only good for first order containing diapers. Are you sure it's not a referral code or first time offer code? I'm wondering if it's worth calling them about...

i just tried too. did not work for me. it looked like it did and I got all the way to pay and my card had the free diapers. With the one click before paying, the price went back up. I checked my emails from Daipers .com and did not get that email. It would have been nice to get the dipes for free!

Yippee! DD's got a pair of SKRs and a pair of Robeez sandals coming for summer!
BABYJUMBO did not work for me- it said that it has to be on your first order that includes diapers. Since I have ordered diapers in the past, it would not work.
Not the less, two pair of great quality sandals for $35 - rock on!

Thank you for posting this!

BABYJUMBO didn't work for me either, but I have ordered diapers from them before. For $81.49, I ordered for gifts: 4 sets of trumpette socks (saving 2 sets for me hoping to have a baby girl in the future!!), a swaddle designs blanket & Huggies Overnights for DS (had to order a pack of diapers, otherwise SPRING40 would not work for me.) I'm ok that BABYJUMBO didn't work for me, I was happy to get a discount on trumpette socks & swaddle designs! Oh, and received bing cashback email pretty quickly too, hope it does go through!

lchang25000

That is a really great code! Thanks so much OP!

I got a bunch of Baby Soy sleepers and a hoodie outfit, some Tea rompers, Zutano pants and a Carters duo. DD is too young for shoes so I figured I'd wait on those though I was tempted. All that along with formula and diapers was $150. You never see Babysoy that cheap!

It took forever to decide (and a few things went out of stock in my size) but I got a couple Carter's outfits, a Tea Collection outfit and diapers (had already ordered) for $39. I was happy with that, but my SIL decided it was a great deal so she had me print my "wish list" and went home to place an order WITH free diapers since she hasn't purchased before. And it's all for us because she doesn't have kids. Thanks for sharing.

FYI, you can combine SPRING40 with SPRING15 and it will take an additional 15% off your highest priced item. I was purchasing a pair of shoes that were $45 and it took an additional $5 off. HTHS!
And that other code didn't work for me either - it must be only for your first order of dipes. Either a promotion from them or a referral code or something, but still an awesome deal. Thanks OP!
ETA - don't forget bing. It was a little goofy and I only got 3% back for my carters items for some reason, but since they were only $6 each, I don't care (and ebates would have only given me 4% anyway). I got 10% back for my big ticket items!

Thanks OP. I bought a pair of SR water sandals, a Zutano dress that I've wanted for a while, and a pack of dipes. I wish DD could wear SKR-- they are so cute but unfortunately don't fit her skinny feet well. I was a bit disappointed that the first time customer code didn't stack as I've never ordered from diapers.com before and was kind of "saving" this code for something I needed. Oh well, great deal none the less.

ugh. i win-- 193!!!! you guys were really restrained. i ended up getting the head to toe rain gear-- umbrella, raincoat, boots (the hatley strawberry one)-- 3 tea collection dresses, Stride Rite sandals, SKR mary janes (couldn't resist the orange), 2 extra umbrellas to use as easter party prizes next year (the frog and the butterfly, not hatley), and of course diapers. i'm only a little ashamed of myself. yeah... only a little ;) what can i say we've had a challenging weekend around here and need some cute new springy things. i always hate to spend money on good shoes, but i'm so glad when i do-- i hope both pairs of those fit (and that the rainboots will work for a couple years, because, we didn't *technically* need rainboots...but why is it so hard to find strawberry themed clothes when kids are over 1?)

I've seen the Bento boxes at my preschool and personally, I think they're a little too big for the toddler/kinder set. But that's just my opinion. I think they'd be great for a slightly older kid.

oh and i stacked the spring40 and spring15 , but couldn't get free diapers.

Thank you OP! I got 2 pairs of SKR, a free pack of overnite diapers and an umbrella.

I was not able to stack SPRING15 with SPRING40 and JUMBOBABY, but you can stack SPRING15 and SPRING40 without the JUMBOBABY code (as long as you enter the SPRING15 first I think). So if 15% of your most expensive item is more than a pack of dipes, you're better off stacking both SPRING codes.

Just squeaked in under the wire (assuming this ended the 11th) - got a few pairs of shoes in diff sizes figuring I could return whatever doesn't work (have never returned to them before but seems they pay for shipping - hope that's true!). Was able to stack the 2 spring codes, so got the shoes plus a cute fleece jacket and zutano dress I'd been eyeing, plus the usual dipes & wipes. Talked myself out of the bento boxes but was hard to resist! Thanks OP!

Okay, now Im getting annoyed. Over the last two days Ive gotten two emails from them saying a total of three items I ordered turned up OOS! Do you think I can call and they would let me order something else to replace it? My DD needed that sleepwear! It even looks like the OOS items they cancelled monday are back in stock! What up with that?

Update - I just called to see if I could at least get another color or something and the woman I spoke with was rude and basically acted like no they are not in stock and "tough crap". Three outfits is a lot to cancel on a customer. BOOOO.

If you ordered a Jumbo pack of pampers in Size 3 and Size 3 green SKR sandals... I got your order yesterday! Anyone get my Tea Collection dresses and Zutano hat...?

I'm pretty annoyed with Diapers.com delivery this time. I'm sure they were overwhelmed with orders as a result of the promotion, but the email I rec'd after I placed my order on Friday said my order would be delivered by 8 pm on Saturday via Fedex. But looking at the tracking info, Fedex was showing scheduled delivery on Tuesday. Fedex delivered yesterday, and they left 3 boxes on my front steps (in the middle of Philadelphia!!) in the rain. And the third box had my packing slip but was actually packed with someone else's order (the diapers and green SKR sandals.) I called last night and they're shipping my correct order today to arrive tomorrow and I'm sending back the wrong order today via pre-paid UPS. Not sure if this reflects poorly on Diapers.com or Fedex but it definitely left a bad taste in my mouth after a great promotion.

Regardless - thanks to the OP for the heads up - as long as my 3rd package arrives I think I got a great deal on some swim diapers, shoes, and clothes!

Seitvonzu
04-14-2010, 12:32 PM
i must be easily satisfied (of course nothing is "wrong" with my order this time, and if i don't get my raincoat today as promised (other stuff arrived yesterday), my smallish two year old isn't going to miss her 4T duplicate raincoat ;), but i think diapers is doing pretty well consider how popular this promotion probably was. yes, i was a little irritated when i'd click on links to stuff that wasn't available in the size i wanted, but for the most part, when i sorted by size this wasn't an issue. (any time wasted on that was my own fault because i was trying to see what other sizes were available)

1 to 2 day normal shipping times is EXCELLENT as far as i'm concerned. i've actually gotten something wrong from diapers.com before (once upon a potty- they sent boy when i ordered girl, no good!!!) and they told me just to keep the item and the next day i got the correct item. the rep. actually told me that i could probably return the book to b&n for a refund! (which of course i didn't do & couldn't believe it was suggested!!!!...and i just found the book over the weekend. i meant to give it to a friend but i think we'll just hold on to it)

i've ordered "deals" before and waited over 2 weeks for them to arrive (forget me not kids comes to mind and hautelook). i know diapers advertises fast shipping, which is different, but i'm surprised you've had trouble with their customer service! at the very least, if they couldn't offer comparable items, they could offer free shipping BACK of the rest of your order if you weren't interested in it (since they shipped it anyhow....). B&N did this to me during their last sale and my "filler" item was the only onet that shipped. we kept it, but i was REALLY annoyed!

to the OP-- you can't do anything about shipping issues and this was still a GREAT deal. just this morning someone asked me where i got lucy's sandals (from this sale). cute & closed toe! she didn't want to take them off last night even for her beloved bath, and today when i said "lu i think those might be TOO BIG" she told me "no, they are perfect!" hahaha. she wouldn't take them off (despite my discovery when we left this morning that it was 40 degrees!!!! back in we went to put on coats)--, so no going back there :)

I don't think going down a size is going to help although w/free return and the excellent sale price it might be worth trying just in case. I love the flexibility of the soles and wish I could make them work. Guess I also really had better suck it up and take her for a shoe fitting.

Oh, and the other funny thing was I had ordered a 7 pack of 3 oz pouches of Ella's kitchen fruit smoothies - and there was just 1, loose 3 oz pouch in the Diapers.com box - no box, packaging, whatever. I was like, um, okay... they're resending the correct item (and told me to throw out the 1 lone one).

I've had them do weird things w/orders before, but they always correct the problem asap and are very apologetic - I've had them offer me credits unasked when there was a problem w/an order. I figure with the volume they do, screw ups are bound to happen, and as long as there is no hassle for me in getting things sorted out, I'm a happy camper.

I just got my order last night. We got a few Carters t-shirts - they are a little big but I figure he will grow into them eventually. The weird thing is that two of them are really long and narrow and one is shorter and wider but they are all the same size. They are cute tho, and 2 of them have trucks on them so DS was thrilled. I just washed them and I think (hope) they may have shrunk a bit. The shorts we got were fine. I also got DS the Sperry Lagoon sandals - I love them! They are cute, sporty, water friendly, and seem to fit well.

We got a few Carters t-shirts - they are a little big but I figure he will grow into them eventually. The weird thing is that two of them are really long and narrow and one is shorter and wider but they are all the same size. I meant to post about this but haven't yet - the last 2 times I order Carters from Diapers.com I was not pleased with the quality. They seem to run much smaller than typical Carters that I have bought from Carters itself, or Kohls, BBB or BRU. Generally my DD fits very true to size in "normal" Carters - she's just about to outgrow her 18-24 months clothes at nearly 24 months. But most of the Carter's 2Ts I bought her for summer are either just fitting, or even a bit snug - some leggings are so tight that they look frankly gross/indecent on a toddler and she will not be wearing them.

I called Diapers.com to complain, and they assured me that their Carters are sourced by Carters itself, and not by another manufacturer, but I don't know. It seems very strange to me that I am suddenly having this problem w/Carters, and only with the things I bought through Diapers.com. Anyone else experiencing this?

I've found that Carters makes different cuts in onsies at least. I typically buy packs of onsies (printed 3 or 5 packs) but got a few outfits that were a onsie and matching pants. The ones with matching pants are short and wide as described by the PP. Anyway, all Carters should be the same, whether you buy it at BRU, diapers.com, directly from Carters, etc.

Their customer service is always so nice and acommodating, often going above and beyond. I think this morning I just got someone on the phone who had a zero personality and I was sore about it. :tongue5:

I just got my order. Everything was correct, except the pair of Robeez mini shoez I ordered for DS are defective. There is a little square of velcro on the tongue that is supposed to be tacked down, but it is not. I'm debating whether or not I should deal with the hassle of exchanging. He has them on now and doesn't want me to take them off. How is the exchange process? Any experience?

I was thrilled to be able to get such a great deal on so many gifts for all my friends who are pregnant (at least 7 or 8 of them)!!! I hope they do another sale like this soon.

My order came really quickly! Like I think in 2 days or something. Everything was there and perfect! :cheerleader1:

I was way too restrained! Only spent $43 and loved everything I got. Wish I would have stocked up a little more for us and for gifts. Oh well.

:yeahthat: I should have ordered more too!! I got DS a pair of SKR's and Stride Rites, plus the diapers. I really like the SKRs and wish I had ordered a couple more pairs.

Ordered last Friday and received my order the following Tuesday. No problems but one of the things I ordered was the Flower Laptop Lunchbox Bento System. It is supposed to be for my 3 year old for preschool the next school year but it is a bit heavy and the Bento box and the lids to the containers seem way too difficult for my daughter to open by herself.

I order 6 pairs of shoes for my twins. Five shipped in one shipment and the last paid shipped seperate. My shipment of five really only included four pairs, although even the packing list even said five. I called ready to defend myself and they were so helpful shipping out the 'missing' pair without even questioning me. Great customer service.

I was hoping to have my just turned 4 y.o. use it next year since her milk and nut allergies will make eating school food difficult. I tried practicing with her, but it's still tough for her to open the outer and the inner containers.

BTW, does your outside box close all the way? Mine closes, but it isn't "flushed." It doesn't close tightly. I bought the first version and that one closes well. The first version was also made without inner lids so it's not "needed" according to their original design.

FYI, I just discovered there's a place for their names on the bottom of the boxes. I never noticed til now.

Just got the rest of my order and love the shoes, I got the rest of my SKR and they are ADORABLE...can't wait for DD to wear these. I bought a size 6, 7, 8, and 9 figuring one style for each size. So cute! I wish I got the otehr two styles I saw but they were out of stock...not sure if I can bring myself to get them now for $5 more.
