If you submit a request via alchemy
and you get lots of responses
do you officially "decline" to not accept that bid or do you send a little note of thanks to the ones you do not want?

When I did it, I sent little notes along with the official decline. I don't think I had to, but it seemed more polite! :)

:yeahthat: Especially since some of them took the time to find photos of fabric swatches to show me.

I only just declined if it was obvious they hadn't put any thought into their answer to my request. Some people I wondered why they bothered to respond. The vast majority were really thoughtful though.

agree. I try to officially decline & send a note saying thanks along with it.
