My cat, Maggie, was finally put down today. It is always so awful to lose a pet.

I told DD that the cat had to go to the Dr. because she is sick and she said, (as she petted the cat) "it won't be scary. and they will give you a lollipop".

I took all I had not to completely lose it then. Children are so sweet.

I will tell her tomorrow that Maggie will be keeping her grandma company in heaven.

i'm so sorry...i know how hard it can be as we've lost 2 dwarf rabbits unexpectedly. I think I was crying harder than DD when we lost Puffy, our 1st rabbit

Aww..I'm so sorry. When we lost our puppy a few years ago I printed up a picture (and made a photo book) of her and placed it by dd1's bed..she found some comfort in that picture. :hug:
