Anyone have suggestions for a website that will let us send out adoption announcements via e-mail? I'd like it to be something simple (both in appearance and to use). Free is great, but we don't want to sign over the rights to the photos so cheap is also fine.

Or am I missing some simple way to do this using a program on our computer? (I'm not at all tech savvy.)

Thanks!
Catherine

We subscribed to American Greetings for a while and used their blank and personalizable ecards for different things (invitations, announcements). I think it cost us $15/year. There wasn't much variety, but some of the options were cute. Have seen beautiful photo slideshows with music and user-designed pages for several people's birth announcements. Some were free through Comcast subscription and some were from a free Kodak website. I rarely have much that is nice to say about Comcast, but the photo sharing feature from their website was really nice.

GL and congrats!

I often use www.scrapblog.com to create free cards that are perfect for email. You will need to publish (still keeping it private) then export as a jpg image. If you wanted any hard copies for the baby book, you could also upload the jpg to costco, etc. There are many free options for backgrounds, stickers, etc.

You can also get inexpensive design services (about $15) and a jpg image on etsy. I have used and was very happy with these sellers:

You could also print out copies of the etsy designed images at costco, or your favorite B&M store.

HTH! Congratulations!
