We only live 2 hours from Disney but we need to use the last 2 days of our 4 day passes so we thought we would spend the night one night. Obviously all we will be doing is sleeping there so I don't want to spend a ton, I just don't want a dump! LOL! I'm a bit of a germ-o-phobe!

Can anyone rec somewhere?

I just found a few to check out since we'll actually be in orlando next weekend for something else.

We stayed at the Regal Sun (used to be called the Grosvenor) a couple of years ago. DH had a class there and Ds1 and I went to the parks.
DH is pretty picky about hotels and he thought it was fine. They have a shuttle to the parks, we used a taxi for early morning breakfasts though since the shuttle didn't start until ~30 minutes before the parks opened.
The pool looked like lots of fun although Ds1 and I didn't use it. Its right across the street from Downtown Disney too. DH walked over every night while we were at the parks and we all walked over on our last morning before going to the airport.
The buffet breakfast is very good too.

Royal Parc is supposed to be very nice. My mom and step father stayed there on their honeymoon and loved it. Whatever you do, do not stay at the Econo Lodge thats about 5 mi from Disney. When I went to Disney our hotel screwed up our room and ended up giving it to someone else. Econo Lodge was the only place that had any open rooms. IT WAS A NIGHTMARE. The room was so filthy we ended up checking out and sleeping in our car for the night.

We are about the same distance to Disney and go for occasional weekend trips. We recently stayed in a suite at Caribe Royale, a 4 star resort, for $100 night w/ no resort or parking fees. It was very clean and had a great pool. We did not eat in the restaurants, instead opting for Starbucks or Chick fil A drive thru for breakfast.

We stayed at this Residence Inn for about $125/night. It was OK but not as nice as CR. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g34515-d223841-Reviews-Residence_Inn_SeaWorld_International_Center-Orlando_Florida.html

Friends have stayed at and highly recommend this Omni for great rates and amenities: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g34352-d295761-Reviews-Omni_Orlando_Resort_at_ChampionsGate-Kissimmee_Florida.html

Why not stay onsite at a value resort? Depending on the time of year, you can get a room for around $100 or less, and get the Disney theming and such.

I must be doing something seriously wrong then bc I can't find anything less than $200!

Oh wait, I googled value resorts in disney and pop century looks kinda neat and their price isn't awful!

THANKS!

Here are rack rates for Disney Value resorts. Note that they only hold 4 people + 1 infant in a PNP. If you have a larger party, they won't come up as an option.

Here is another option worth considering. It was booked when we went. It has great reviews on trip advisor: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g34515-d1307623-Reviews-Parc_Soleil_by_Hilton_Grand_Vacations_Club-Orlando_Florida.html

These days, we prefer having more space (i.e. 2 double beds and a pull out sleeper sofa, at least a small refrigerator, microwave, etc.).

Currently, Florida residents get 30% off certain hotels in all catergories.

Pop is pretty cool. Very kid-friendly. The rooms are very basic, but if you won't be spending much time there, it should be fine. They just re-did one of the other values- I want to say it was All Star Music, but I'm not positive, so that should look exceptionally clean.

If you do check out the moderates, Coronado Springs was pristine when we stayed there in 08. Brand new beds then too.

ETA: Mousesavers.com often has amazing deals on offsite properties.
