So, my birthday is coming up. And we have a newborn in the house (yay!). And I don't want to make myself a birthday cake. And I don't really want to have to go and get it either, although I suppose I could. . . But I do want something to celebrate. And DS is allergic to milk.

What can I order that's birthday-ish, diary-free and yummy? (The King cakes in the regional food thread made me think of this, but I'm pretty sure they've got milk in them.)

If that's too healthy:

Thanks for the babycakes link! And yes, fruit would definitely be too healthy. (Or maybe just too ordinary, no one in my house likes veggies much so we all eat a ton of fruit.)

Mmmm, that sounds good. When DS had his dairy allergy, I don't ever remember seeing something I didn't have to bake that was dairy free. Unless, you have a local bakery that caters to dairy, wheat, etc. allergies.

Umm, their website says they use milk products in their donuts? And it's said that for years because I checked when DS' milk allergy was first diagnosed.
