DD2 is here!!

After a fast and furious labor (5 hours start to finish!) on Saturday, DD2 made her big entrance. She is 8lbs, 14 oz, and 20 and 3/4 inches. Having a full term baby ROCKS! Chubby and wonderful and we are all in love, even DD1. :)

Labor story: We went to get a NST on Saturday after lunch and my OB decided to keep me because DD2 was measuring big, she was 40 weeks, and my amniotic fluid had dropped from a nine to just over five since Wednesday. I was so scared of that 'induction' word, I really preferred a vaginal delivery and had heard that inductions can lead to a CS if the mama isn't favorable. But all it took to get the whole thing started was breaking my water, and in less than 5 hours she was out!

The epi didn't take on the right side, I have a bit of scoliosis. So transition was super bad. They managed to give me a second epi between contractions so I did get relief but the pushing was really weird since I couldn't feel what was going on. DH got really hands on and even pulled her out. I'm so proud of him!
