have your kid(s) seen it? Looks a bit on the scary side.

Curious on your thoughts after seeing the movie. DH may take the kids.

DS who is almost 5 went to see it with his uncle. He had a great time, and didn't mention anything about it being scary.

My 2.5 year old liked it more than my 5 year old did. My friend's 2.5 year old has gone to see it 3x (keeps asking Grandma and she says yes every time LOL). I think it depends on your kids. Neither of my kids is easily scared, but my 5 year old can be more skittish/dramatic. He wasn't scared of How to Train Your Dragon though. He was actually a little bored in the slower moving parts (beginning in particular).

DS is almost 6 and thought it was okay. Not scary, but a little slow. He was ready to leave about an hour into it.

We took DS (6), Nephew (almost 5), Niece (3) and none of them were scared. The killings were more implied, not actually shown, so that probably went over their heads. Toward the end the 3 yo started getting restless. I, BTW, loved the movie!

My 6-year-old enjoyed it, but it was a little intense at times. A year or two ago she would not have been able to handle it. I really enjoyed it!
