DH got some gift certificates from Amazon from a hotel loyalty program. So, I've been waiting to get magnatiles forever and was going to use my Baby Einstein DVD refund $$ to cover/justify part of the cost when I find a good price. But, the Amazon gc's are free, so do I buy them for $120 on Amazon or wait for a $96 deal elsewhere?

Also, thinking of getting the Twilight boxed set of books (about $50) as my CL purchase for them fell through. They seem to be very popular and the library wants them back faster than I can read them and they're not on my bookswap site.

Any other ideas??

Amazon is awesome, you can get basically anything there. Groceries or diapers, or seventh generation products or fun stuff like music and movies, books.
If it were me, I'd probably go with some cloth dipe stuff, and some nice planters for the front porch. Maybe the Joovy stroller I've been looking at or a new camera. Hmmm. how to decide!?

It's fun to fantasize, isn't it!

New digital camera?

Flip video camera? LOVE mine

cases for the above (and get the separate cable for the Flip)

digital camera "card" reader (if your computer d/n have one)

Kitchen stuff??

Flat iron for your hair -- I got a Metropolis one and love it

I dunno, I could spend $300 on Amazon.com in the blink of an eye. You can even buy shoes from them via Endless.

Flip camera, that's a good idea! We hardly ever use our camcorder b/c it's so big and bulky and has a short battery life.

I second that suggestion--I love my Flip, it's definitely one of my favorite things to have, and it's allowed me to capture a lot of great but run-of-the-mill moments of DS's life in places where I would not have lugged the camcorder.

Despite the fact that we have an iPad, two iPhones and 3 iPods in the house, I really want one of the new iPod shuffles for working out, so that's what I would get :)

I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and bought one of those GelPro mats. Tried it out last night while making dinner. I'm 26 weeks pregnant and would get backaches from standing for too long. The mat worked! I feel a little better for paying so much for it.

I'd get another one if I have $300 to spend! :D

Can you just bank it and spend it over time? DH's boss has gotten Amazon GCs for us for a couple years. We've used them up little bit at a time.

Kindle?

GPS?

I have a GPS and have no desire for a kindle (I like reading the old fashioned way), but thanks for making suggestions for *me*. I always buy for the kids. I'm still having fun sifting through the options for myself. Since this seems like "found" money, I feel more free to buy stuff I normally would wait on, so I want these to be "fun" purchases. DH is laughing b/c he knew I would be psyched about these Gc's (even more than the Tiffany's GC he gave me for making Platinum on Delta). That's just sitting on the counter and I have no motivation to spend it.
