With the weather getting warmer, I'm running out of pockets as my walking clothes get lighter. Does anyone have a nifty little pack/bag they use to carry keys/phone/ipod? Would love some suggestions if you have any....

Hmmm, all I can think of is a fanny pack. Could you use an arm band for your ipod, and put your phone/keys in your pocket?

Yeah, I've been looking around online and I'm thinking a fanny pack might be alls there is. I'm gonna try to look for one on the small/slim side. Thanks!

When I run outside at work (there is a park across the street) I use a fanny pack to hold my cell and my badge. It's not very attractive, but I can't think of anything else to use.

I have an amphipod race belt that I've used on occasion, although usually I when I'm running I either have the stroller to hold stuff or am going long enough that I need my Camelbak, which has pockets for stuff like that. Maybe something like this, not *quite* so fanny-pack-ish? :p http://www.amphipod.com/240/240.html

If you need to carry water, you could also look into a small Camelbak.

I use a spibelt to carry keys and ipod/iphone while running:

It fits what I need it to but has a small profile, more like a belt than fanny pack.

I want a spibelt. I have an amphipod pocket that I occasionally use. I have various bottle pouches, though, and generally use those instead (mainly to carry water and also to put my phone and spare money/keys). ETA: just ordered one, prezzie for me :)

If you are walking, you could use a strap wallet like this: http://www.eaglecreek.com/accessories/security_id/Market-Pouch-40510/

I have three different ones of those (Eagle Creek, MEC and Sherpani). I like the Eagle Creek one the best.

This is the amphipod I have: http://www.amphipod.com/080/080.html

This is my favorite water pack: http://www.ultimatedirection.com/product.php?id=106&page=waistpacks

Somepeople like the angled ones better: http://www.ultimatedirection.com/product.php?id=16&page=waistpacks

I also have a Camelback for longer runs: http://www.camelbak.com/sports-recreation/hydration-packs/2010-flashflo.aspx

The Flashflo holds a LOT of water/sports drink. Like, enough for 4-4.5 hours. Its really overkill for most runners, JMHO. Unless you really need that amount of fluid, I don't recommend it. It sloshes and drives me nuts when I run with it after a while -- no sloshing when full, but as you drink, there is more sloshing, KWIM? But, when you are doing a 4 hour trail run and its your only hydration source, it ROCKS.

That's what I have. I have the dual pocket sport belt so I can cram a ton of stuff in there (GUs, car key, phone, etc). I love that the pockets collapse to basically nothing when they're empty.

I absolutely love it.

I love my FlashFlo! I trained for a marathon when I was still nursing DS - could not have possibly made it through training without the FlashFlo.

Although I am not the OP, i have to thank everyone for their suggestions in this thread. I've been looking for something a bit more sleek than my three various fanny/hip packs, to hold pager/iphone/keys. Now to decide between amphibod belt and spibelt...
