Bike/Trike/Balance Bike for 3 year old??

DD is turning 3 next week (eek!). She REALLY wants a "pretty purple princess bike". I have no problem getting her one as we really don't have a working trike right now or a bike that fits her. I am stumped which option would be the best though. She is tall and quite physical. Which would be the most useful this summer? I have lots of boys bikes in bigger sizes for future years if needed, so this doesn't have to be a super quality bike.

When our DD was newly 3, she really got into the balance bike she'd had since she was 2. She loooooved it, and only had to give it up because younger brother was not going to stop begging until he got it. Anyway, the Hotwalk has been a great ride for our peeps. No experience with the others you have pictured. DD was super-set on pink, but has now decided a lello Specialized Hotrock is what she needs.

I vote for #1. We have almost that exact same bike -- in two different sizes. Working well for us. I'm not a fan of the balance bike concept, I just don't see the point.
