We got DSs each a plasma car for Christmas.

They use them EVERY day for at least 20-30 mins. They race around and have a great time. They are great. Honestly they let them burn off some energy while I am cooking or something. They listen and so don't ram into the walls (often) and they are super cool. DSs are 2.5 and almost 5 years old.

FWIW, They are inside only and we have hardwoods. There might be a few scratches but nothing I've noticed. YMMV.

I saw them at costco the other day for under $40.

My DDs LOVE, LOVE, LOVE ours too. They get used inside during the winter and are used outside on our brick walkways and big tile patio during the nicer weather. We've had them for 2+ years now and I think they are still as fun as the day we got them, maybe even more fun!

We only have 1 inside our house (plus another ride on) and it is great they can buddy up and ride together. Well, SOMETIMES they ride together, when they aren't fighting over it.

This is fabulous to hear - I'd love to get a pair for my kids this summer!

The IL's gave one to DD for her birthday this year. She loves to ride it, but has a hard time keeping the playroom floor cleared of other toys. :rotflmao:

I'm glad to hear this since we just got one for DS 2 days ago. He's 2.3 yo.

My younger DD was I think 3 when we got ours, and she's loved it from day 1. At Easter this year my 13yo and 10yo cousins were racing on them with my DDs (7.5 & 5) for probably an hour. I don't think a nice day goes by without my older DD getting hers out to use outside.

What kind of ground do they use them on outside? I think our street is a little too rough because ours won't really move on it. Unfortunately we don't have sidewalks.

My Costco STILL doesn't have these in stock. Argh! I've been wanting one for DD1.
