Would something like this actually work? Would it work for the BJCM?

It looks like it would attach alright and stay attached. I would definitely check the widths of the strap and your stroller. I'm not sure what real purpose it serves, though. The pockets don't seem that big and you can't really attach a snack tray on to it.

Baby Jogger has a belly bar for the BJCM. I have one on my BJCC and love it. I've also used these http://www.amazon.com/Bright-Starts-Lots-of-Links/dp/B001ABZGU2/ref=pd_sim_ba_9 on my umbrella stroller to create a kind of bar and attach toys to it.

i've been looking for some kind of belly bar too (for my Mac twin). Wondered about that same JL belly bar and I've used those link rings as well (Target has them). I attach sippy cups (the ones with handles) to the rings so that the cups don't fall to the ground and I also attach toys ie stuffed animals (they have ribbon tied around the neck).

I saw this at BRU

and am tempted to get it using hte 20% off coupon.

:yeahthat: With something like that, I think I'd go with the manufacturer one. (I have the SK parent caddy, but got the BJ belly bar -- I use the links to attach toys to it - I also attach a snack trap to it)
