When I was young (about 33 years ago) I was given a book about the facts of life. It had a purple cover and pencil sketch illustrations. I remember it being very informative, but not overly graphic. For the live of me, I can't remember the name of the book. I am looking for it to talk with my kids. TIA.

Could it have been The "What's Happening to my Body" Book for Girls? The cover, pictures and content sound similar to me. Below is a link to the newest edition. The cover looks different than what I had, but it looks like it still has the sketch-type drawings inside.

"It's So Amazing" -is it that? The illustrations are bit more involved but it's still really simple. It's a good one at any rate.

No, it was not cartoony or anything like that. Just very too the point, showed a man and woman embracing laying down. Nothing gross. It is driving me crazy.
