We use Bell helmets. They have a great toddler helmet that comes in lots of fun colors/patterns.

Which model? There are tons of Bell ones. I think DS1 has a Bell Trigger but he is 3.

I love the Giro Rodeo! There also is a smaller Giro as well. We have had several Giros and really like the adjustment and durability. They are very nice.

Our bike shops carry Giro and something else. We have a Me Too for the one DC and a Flume for the older one. Hmm.... guess we'll need to move people up and readjust the helmets soon since DS2 will be eligible to ride this summer in the Topeak seat. Just get one he's excited about so it will be easier to get it on him.

We *really* like the Giro we got for DD. It was on sale on Amazon awhile back.

We have the Bell Fraction in X-small. DS has had it since before he was 2 and it's fit him well.

DS' helmet is a Specialized Small Fry. He started wearing it when he was 12 mos and it still fits. Some other good brands that do toddler helmets are: Bell, Giro, and Louis Garneau. The Small Fry is nice because it's flat in the back for more comfortable napping :)

We have used Trek, Bell and no-name Disney Princess helmets for the girls. I'd go with whatever fits best or whatever one they will wear willingly. As long as they have the certification sticker, there really isn't much difference at this age. When they are older, the more expensive helmets are worth it for the ventilation, but little kids aren't working hard enough that they really need that, KWIM?

I went to REI yesterday to get the Bell one shown above and it was huge on him, so we got him a Bern one that fit great!
