DH why can't you get the kids out the door?

DH I appreciate you taking the kids out to get muffins etc for breakfast but why does it ALWAYS turn into a 1 hr noisy battle? I think going forward I will get up and help you get them out the door immediately as it always turns into 1 hr of drama followed by me being mad /annoyed and getting up to help.
