Just got bad news....

DH's aunt just recently (like a couple weeks ago) had great news about her cancer, that it was almost completely gone. She had been having treatments for almost a year, and it has been a lot of up and down. Yesterday we got an email that it has moved into her bone marrow, and is now untreatable. She might have a few months. I'm just broken-hearted for DH (his aunt really took the place of his mother when she died in some ways) and his cousins and the two toddlers who will in all likelihood be losing their grandma very soon. Not to mention DH's uncle. I'm so sad she will probably never meet my kids also.
It just seems so cruel that this news would come so soon after the wonderful news they got a couple weeks ago, and the week of Mother's Day on top of that. Not sure why I am posting, just to vent a little. I don't want to talk with DH about it right now, because I know he is really upset at the moment (we just read the email this morning).
