Sounds like a silly question, but I need some assistance cooking boneless skinless chicken breasts. I'm a recent meat-eater again after being vegetarian for 15 years so my cooking skills are minimal when it comes to meat.

I just need a simple recipe for cooking 3-4 chicken breasts for me and DS (DH is a vegetarian so he won't be eating it). Something quick and easy would be great! What are your go-to recipes when it comes to cooking chicken breasts?

The easiest way is to marinate and then cook in baking dish for about 20-30 minutes at 375. You can even use bbq sauce.

I like saute them in olive oil if they are the thin cut. Or bread them and fry in a little olive oil.

My kids love chicken tenders. Kinda like mini chicken breasts. I marinate them in soy sauce and a little agave/maple syrup blend (we buy from trader joes) and some seasoned salt(lawry's). I just saute in a pan with some olive oil. sometimes I make sauted onion and zucchini... usually we just eat it with rice and green beans.

Chicken breasts in a grill pan or on the george forman grill with BBQ sauce it yummy...cook the chicken through then brush with BBQ sauce, flip, brush the other side, flip and remove.

I just recently made this recipe and it was yummy... I think it would have been better with chicken on the bone but it worked and tasted good with the tenders I had on hand (would be good with boneless skinless breast too I think). you might be able to get away with cutting the recipe in half... but the extra sauce was good over the rice so you might want to leave it as is.

I think this was recommended by someone on this board. It's very easy and good and I make it almost once a week because everyone likes it.

If I need an EASY way to cook chicken breasts to put IN a recipe, I will throw them in the crock pot in chicken stock and appropriate spices (Italian if it's an Italian dish, etc.) for a few hours until the meat thermometer shows 160+.

This works really well for me as the chicken is tender, ready when I need it, etc...but I wouldn't recommend it as entree in itself.

I made this tonight and it turned out really good. I cut the chicken breasts up into tender-sized strips and then breaded them. DS ate it, which says a lot! This recipe is a keeper! Thanks for all the suggestions!

i usually cut the breasts in half, length-wise b/c it helps it to cook faster. I marinate it with a bit of oil, salt, pepper and oregano and then put them on the George Foreman Grill.

they come out juicy and delicious.
