It is time to start planning DDs big girl room!

I am just starting to look at options for bedding. Bedding will be one of the main style features, esp as the room is a neutral color, and I do not plan to repaint it.

I like PBK, Land of Nod, and Company Kids in terms of the look.

Does anyone have suggestions about where else to shop where I might get a great deal or great value? I am hoping to pick a few options and show her the pictures so she can have the final choice.

Ikea. Bedroom furniture, mattresses, duvets & pillows, bedding, mattress covers, window treatments.

overstock.com, TJMaxx and Marshalls are also good sources.

Target also has a few really cute sets that are reminiscent of PBK. The quality is a little lower, I suppose, but still very cute. And given that DS drew on DD's new quilt less than a month after she got it, I'm SO glad I went the cheaper route!

So, I think we are looking at a horsey theme.....would I be cheaping out tooooo much if I went with this (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/detail.gsp?image=http://i.walmartimages.com/i/p/00/67/57/16/11/0067571611502_500X500.jpg,http://i.walmartimages.com/i/p/00/67/57/16/11/0067571611502_500X500.jpg,http://i.walmartimages.com/i/p/00/67/57/16/11/0067571611502_AV_60X60.gif&product_id=7965401&iIndex=1&isVariant=false&corpCard=false&type=-9223372036854775808)?

I hve never bought bedding in Walmart before, but I thought it was cute, the colors are nice and bright, and she is only 2 yo. We are going to be PTing on this bedding, KWIM? Plus, if in a year she wants a different theme, or the whole thing is wrecked, I am not out much $$$.

I saw some other cute stuff, but nothing close to $50 for the set, and most things were pastel or even *gasp* mauve.

If I did not like the feel of the sheets, I could always buy her another set in a coordinating color. I think the pattern of the sheets is actually cute.

So, Walmart? OK?
