I've checked in some of the older threads, but I just want to be sure...

I am baking cupcakes to bring to school on Friday. I am going to freeze them (Can I put them in an 11x14 pyrex dish with plastic cover to freeze? Or is there a better method?). I am bringing them to school for 10:45. Can I take them out that morning and frost? I am using canned icing mixed with fluff. Should I let them defrost a little or do them right away?

And they won't be soggy, right?

TIA

I always freeze them in the pan and then when they are frozen, but them in a ziplock bag. You can just take them out in the morning, frost and put them in the carrier. They will defrost in about an hour. I think it is easier to ice them while frozen.
