I was actually coming to post this very thing!

I find myself singing things like "rock a bye baby" or "my darlin' Cleminetine", and then stop and listen to to _words_!

I would love some suggestions on bedtime, rock-the-baby type songs...

Same here - we resorted to singing the ABC song and then using songs we knew but making up our own words! I had my mom send me my old nursery rhyme book, but even most of those are inappropriate these days... although, they didn't hurt us, so I don't know...

We've also done - She'll be Coming 'Round the Mountain when She Comes, and Take Me out to the Ballgame

I actually asked this to a group of mons at the park this weekend. A couple of great suggestions were :
