My husband and I like taking long neighborhood walks. We've been using a Phil & Teds with the add on seat, but our younger daughter is outgrowing the bottom seat. So its time for a side by side. Any suggestions of a side by side double that can fit a tall 5 year old?

Baby Jogger City Elite Double. I sold my P&T and bought one. My 4 year old fits in well and has growing room. Albee baby has the 2009 model in stone and black on sale for $429. It pushes super well around my neighborhood and the zoo, and I even took it across grass and gravel paths with no problem.

BJCED or BJCCD for sure! Super tall seatbacks, great canopies, tons of storage, great steering and one-step fold. My 41 inch old 3 yo still has room in our BJCCD.

Another vote for BJCE. The other good all terrain choices are a BOB revolution or a Bumbleride Indie but their seatbacks are very short and there is no way a 5 year old would fit in there. The BJCE goes up to 75lbs and the seatback is super high and deep.

Love our BJCED, but are you sure your 5yo wouldn't rather be riding something?

My vote for the best side by side double is the Easy Walker Duo.
