I need a stickbroom/ light vaccuum to clean up the dirt that gets tracked in 100x a day, and to clean under all three kids seats at the kitchen bar.

I've had an electrolux but I keeping having to replace it every 2 yrs because it stops sucking well enough.

What do you have and love?

We have this one. Not cordless, but very long cord. Works great.

FWIW we have a cordless shark (it is DS's) and its crap. It won't pick up much. DS likes to vacuum when DH is (its a man job around here ;)) and it was lightweight enough for him to push around while still being a "real" vacuum but it really doesn't do much cleaning.

Love my Ergo Rapido. Got it from Costco last year. It gets used almost every day. Area rugs, wood floors and slate floor.

I have this Dirt Devil cordless stick vac and I like it ok - it's decent. I use it for the kitchen floor, wood and tile floors and area rugs. I keep trying different ones, and so far this is the best I could come up with (but it would be nice to find something I could rave about!).

The $30 Eureka one at Walmart does the trick and -- it's $30.

I also have the Eureka Quick-Up and LOVE it! It gets excellent reviews on Amazon.
