I'm looking for a reasonably priced hand vacuum cleaner to use in the kitchen table area. I have three kids 6,4 and 1 and after each meal there are so many crumbs on the floor. The one that I have now, Black & Decker 18-Volt Pivot Vacuum Cleaner, died and wanted to see if anyone likes their hand vac and would highly recommend it. One thing bad about my old one is it's very loud.

We always buy the Shark cordless ones. They range in price. We use it a lot, have 2 big dogs and 2 little boys, so they don't last long (about 1-2 yrs) but they really suck!

We have the Dyson, we bought it refurbished. It works great! I highly recommend it.

We have the handheld one, the Dc-16.

We bought it refurbished, for about $60 I think. It works great, is easy to empty, isn't too heavy. We also hook up the tube from an old vacuum to it, so I can use it to vacuum the kitchen floor as well. So convenient, and it is more powerful than any other stick vac we have had. However, it is loud and, fully charged, it only works for about 10 minutes. But overall, I am glad we have it, and I would definitely buy it again.
