Right now, 20 months DD is still sleeping in sleepsacks but she's starting preschool soon and they have asked me to bring a blanket for her nap.

Where do I find toddler blankets? Any recs?

We have two fleece toddler size blankets that we found in the baby bedding section of Walmart. We letter DD1 pick hers out and of course they were both Elmo, but there are non-character ones too.

Here are some examples: http://www.walmart.com/browse/Bedding-Decor/Blankets/_/N-8rzvZ1yzpkzzZaq90Zaqce/Ne-aqwh?ic=48_0&ref=125863.409531+501425.4292612495&tab_value=4507_All&catNavId=978579&fromPageCatId=978579

Most throws are the right size. I've also gotten toddler bedding etc.. from the Company store.

And there are elaborate pillow and blanket combos. Mr. Bobbles was one I ordered from years ago.

Anybody know what the right size blanket is for a toddler? I've been thinking about this lately because my toddler complains when his feet gets tangled on the blanket ... and then cries again for the blanket. Thanks.

Toddler is basically crib size. The toddler duvets are 36 x 50. Just depends if child wants to be fully covered with extra or not.

When I needed these for ds I just went to the fabric store and let ds choose from the sale fleece section. I think I bought three yards and cut it into six pieces. Fleece doesn't ravel so no need to sew. Four years later and ds still sleeps with one in his bed as a comfort object and I also use them for dd in the stroller. Someone here suggested this. Quite the bargain!
