I stopped wearing flip flops a few years ago because I have back problems. I mainly wear Keens during the summer. I want shoes I can wear with casual skirts though. The Keens would look silly, and I think I would be too warm wearing regular mary janes. Any suggestions? I was looking at the Earth Cabo sandals, but I didn't know if they would really be better than flip flops or not. Thanks!

I need to find something that is a little more supportive myself. I love my flip flops but my arches hurt at the end of the day and I know I could use some extra support.
I was looking at those Earth shoes myself. I would like to try them on, gotta find a local B&M store. not a bad price here

Try to get them B&M if you can. I purchased a pair of Earth clogs at Marshalls, and they gave me the most horrible blisters I've ever had. That was a few weeks ago, and my soles are still covered in moleskin, and I can barely walk or stand. Something about that anti-gravity heel that makes your foot slip out...

Hmm, good to know. I was looking at the Keen Waimea's too.

Oh yeah, and by the way, those Earth clogs were terrifically comfortable (other than the foot sliding out, but I didn't make a big deal of it at the time). So much so that I wore them for 2 days straight, before I realized something was amiss. So CAVEAT EMPTOR!;)

I love my Earth Cabos. Pretty much every year I buy a new pair of Earth sandals as they are my summer everyday/around the house footwear. The Cabos are great because they wash up with the rubber soles.
The negative heel takes a bit to get used to so break them in slowly.

Maybe I'll just order the Cabos and the Waimeas and see which I like better.
What about Naot sandals. They have some really cute styles.

Crocs make some decent-looking sandals. 3rd trimester is a b*tch and they're the only sandals I've found that I can wear all day without having any foot/ back pain.

Me too! If you want Earth shoes, try Goodwill, that's where mine ended up LOL.

Okay, I don't like the Keen Waimeas at all. I'm used to their closed toe sandals, but just having the one toe covered seems odd, it seems shorter than their other shoes. I think I like the Earth Cabos.

I have some Merrell's that, while not as cute as my metallic flip flops with skirts, are fine if I need extra comfort. The ones I have are part of this series judging by the design of the sole:

These Teva's look interesting:
