Hi all, thanks for all the great advice on this forum!
My last question: Do you have to wait long when you have an ADR? I assumed that the time you booked was grossly the time you got in. If I booked resis for 6:30 or 6:40, does that mean we won't be eating until 8?!!! That's what a friend recently informed me. Is it true?!

I think it really depends on how busy it is when you are there. For us (early May), we were seated on time for our ADRs on all but our last one (1900 Park Fare Dinner - we waited about 30 minutes, but showed up right at our ADR time). Keep in mind, generally we arrived 20 minutes early as requested so I guess we "waited" 20 minutes or less to be seated by our ADR time.

In a few cases we were seated almost immediately (thus early).

Have a GREAT time and report back on how it was! :)

Depends on the place. We were also there early May and waited over 20 minutes for Crystal Palace dinner, even after arriving early. We arrived 15 minutes early and waited over 30 minutes at Park Fare (breakfast) also. Tusker House breakfast, no wait (and we go there late), Tutto Italia dinner, no wait.

I've never waited more then 20-30 minutes regardless of being late or early. That being said, on average we arrive 15 minutes early and are seated within 10.

If I had an ADR and wasn't seated for 1 1/2 hours I'd be having a serious convo with a manager! I think that's a pretty extreme example.

On our last trip, the only 2 ADRs (and we had ADRs for breakfast lunch and dinner every day) where we ran into a wait of more than 15 minutes were at Whispering Canyon (over 30) and Le Cellier (over 1 1/2 hours- and no, not worth it!)

Everywhere else, we even arrived early and were seated immediately!

Enjoy your trip!
