So, after buying LE diaper bags for years for friends, it seems that they are no longer making them. As soon as I found out I was pregnant, I just knew that I would finally get myself one, but alas...

We have limited baby shopping where I live and I've investigated Target, Wal-Mart, and ToysRUs. I've seen a few that I could live with, but wanted to know if anyone had any experience with the Bumkins Deluxe Diaper Bag? I like the looks of it online and the whole waterproof thing. They have cute fabrics but still make a bag that my SO wouldn't be afraid to carry.

I like the looks of the Skip Hop Dash Deluxe too...

Decisions!

TIA

I like the Skip Hop too. I'm a backpack kind of girl so I so love the Via Backpack. It helps with running after a sprinting toddler, because your belongings are already on your back...all you gotta do is RUN! Haven't seen the Bumkins IRL but Costco.com (http://www.costco.com/Common/Category.aspx?ec=BC-EC5397-Cat48022&pos=9&whse=BC&topnav=&cat=56095&eCat=BC|48022|56095&lang=en-US) sells them. So if you end up going the Bumkins way...keep that in mind.

Land's End does carry a backpack diaper bag. Here's the link:

I've seen them on some sites but never in person. Not sure how their longevity would be, but their cloth diapers are great so might be worth a try.

Lands End may only temporarily not have bags besides the backpack. They tend to redesign every few years, they may be making a change.

LLBean also makes a great diaper bag...

and a touring bag that in the large is the same without the changing pad.

and a touring sling bag...

Another good basic bag is the Ameribag Baby Bag

SkipHops are great as well! Duo is vertical storage, Dash horizontal storage.

I went ahead and bought the Bumkins bag from Costco.com (thanks Cath!) and really like the look and feel of it. The changing pad is a bit minimal but that's alright. Costco's package included the diaper clutch which I think I'll really like too.

The bag feels very sturdy, the seams well sewn and the fabric is nice too. We'll have to see how it works once our little one arrives.

I'm really not a backpack fan - never have been, not even in school - so hopefully LE will come out with a little tripper type bag again and I can pick it up then.
